Congratulations to Denzel of Garfield High! He is the winner of this year’s Senior Portrait Scholarship Program! Nominated by his mother, Tracey, and highly recommended by teachers, Denzel is a high-achieving student who has received awards in Math and Ku-Onesha. He is also involved in Northwest Black Pioneers, Toddler Tech Child Care, and Mt. Calvary Christian Center. Denzel’s passion is track & field, and hopes to attend a Pac 10 college and participate in sports. His other interests include Computers and Information Technology. No matter what his future plans are, it is clear Denzel has put forth great effort and seen great returns during his high school careerr, and I am happy to recognize him for his motivation and dedication to hard work.
